A Virginia native, Julika has been dancing and teaching in Open Style choreography, structured foundational through Hip Hop & Funk Style for 10 years. She initiates in her classes to educate and structure the quality of movement. When explaining her movement, she references it as unique, expressive, and taught to help those to work and train in their own language of learning. Having trained with different dance company’s such as Capitol Movement Inc (DC), Culture Shock DC XV (DC), and CREWcial Alum (Va Beach). As well as performing for many events, Ladies of Hip Hop (New York), Something in the Water (Va Beach, VA), The John F. Kennedy Performing Arts Center Urban Festival (Washington DC), etc . Julika takes her spare time teaching at studios, workshops, and conventions. Hoping to reach and expand to the community of growth amongst one another. Taking each nugget of information and bridging the gap through the language of movement and everyday lifestyle. Furthermore, creatively wanting to impact the lives around her as an artist, and hoping to continue to create a space of development as a community.
