Elan Robinson
Elan Robinson is a dancer, choreographer, teacher, and administrator who loves being able to express herself through movement. Holding a BFA in Dance and BS in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology from the University of Florida (UF), she trained under Xan Burley, Andrew Cao, Rujeko Dumbutshena, Elizabeth Johnson, Alex Springer, Augusto Soledade, and multiple others. She also performed in numerous student, faculty, and guest artist works, most notably the restaging of Doug Varone's "Lux", MX Oops "UnFiNiShEd aNiMaL", and Anna Teresa de Keersmaeker's "Rosas danst Rosas" adapted for the "Re:Rosas" project by Alex Springer. Professionally, she has been featured in the musical short film for “FEAR, Forget My Name" by SUPER 400. Elan recently presented her senior thesis "-ing..." a collaborative choreographic process that explored release techniques and kinesthetic awareness in February 2024. During her junior year, she choreographed “a gentle collapse” for the Composition 4 Showcase.
