Anastasia Johnson (she/her) is a dynamic dance artist, performer, educator, curator, and choreographer. Currently, she serves as the Education Director at Dance Place in Washington, DC. A.J. Collabs (AJC) is a movement-based company she founded, which utilizes education, community engagement, collaboration, performance, and choreography to highlight various Black cultural experiences. Johnson is an alumna of the 202Creates Residency Program, a former Emerging Artist for the BlackLight Summit Emerging Artist Laboratory, has been featured in an article in Dance Teacher Magazine, and holds a certificate in Women’s Entrepreneurship from Cornell University.
